After graduating from high school, Garcia went on to Texas Christain University studied there for a couple of years prior to moving onto the University of Texas. When she arrived at Texas Christain, she experienced a highly competitive atmosphere that allowed her to develop the skills of a golfer. Despite the fact that the lady found joy and fulfillment as a player Angela Akin Garcia never dreamt of becoming a professional golfer, so she decided to pursue journalism. When she graduated her degree, she was employed as an Fox Sports Southwest reporter.
